Besides die-plates Mercatel can also supply knives (blades) and knive-holders for most pelletizing systems. You can also contact Mercatel in case of pelletizing problems.

The pelletizier knives that are most used are made of stainless steel (SS), toolsteel (TS), coated toolsteel (K-knives), hardmetal knives (TiC) or bi-metal knives. Bi-metal knives are a combination of a stainless steel body and a hard metal knife edge.

As each pelleter uses specific knives depending on the die plate and polymer that is processed, please ask for a knive quotation for your situation.
