| Kobe Steel Ltd. (Kobelco) is a manufacturer of polymer compounding lines for the compounding of Polyolefins like PP and PE. Compounding machines or compounders are used for the blending of polymers, for mixing up small amounts of colour masterbatches and for mixing up high amounts of filler components. Mainly twin screw extruders are used for compounding but sometimes mixer type or single screw extruders are used also.
After the compounder a pelletizer (dieplates and rotating knives) is used for making pellets (granules). Mercatel Groep BV is Kobe Steel's European representative regarding after sales service's
